According to the CWGC online records at http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=729039 he was Son of Harry and Sarah Annie Butler, of Oxford Rd., Kidlington, Oxon.
The inscription on the Loos Memorial states his name is Sydney S Butler,(caution must be taken as to the accuracy of his name), and his age was 19,(did he lie about his DOB?), at the date of death at 18 July 1916. It may be inferred that his birth year may be around 1897.
Checking this site, http://freebmd.rootsweb.com , for births 1895 to 1899, in Oxfordshire does not produce any definite matches.
Looking at the 1901 census there is an entry for a Harry Butler, age 46, b. Oxon Kidlington Oxfordshire census Kidlington occ. Coachman; no sign of Sydney so needs a more detailed research.
