Joseph (later John then Samuel) Butler had a large ironfoundry in Stanningley, near Leeds, between about 1820 and 1960. They specialised in cast iron bridges and large roofs which were exported all over the world. I am interested in hearing of ANY structures (UK and abroad) which carry the Butler maker's plate or are known to have built by Butlers.
